The Rock N Ball Elite 15

The Rock N Ball Elite 15 delivered an exciting jam packed weekend in Hammond, Indiana. Several Nationally ranked kids and a few new faces made names for themselves. Bates Fundamentals came in with a big name and a impressive resume and more than delivered all weekend long. They went undefeated and beat a game and talented Grand Park team in the championship game. Bates has a impressive roster of talent and has played a challenging national schedule and that experience was too much for the field. Below is some of the top players we watched play. 

-2025 Bates Fundamentals (MI) 6’4” G Trey McKenney has good size for his position and a strong body. Sees the floor well and makes others better. Plays at his pace and thrives in transition game. One of the best guards nationally at this time

-2025 94 Feet Elite (IN) 6’1” G Garrett Clark is a skilled ball handler with deceptive quickness and a high IQ. Excellent job of moving without the ball and sees and sets up open cutters. Scrappy and hard playing on the defensive end. 

-2025 94 Feet Elite (IN) WF Albren Johnson showed off his athletic ability running the floor and blocking shots. Really long wing that can get to the rim and finish and makes free throws. 

-2025 Bates Fundamentals (MI) 6’5” F Jayden Savoury has good size a strong frame and is active on both ends. Out of area rebounder that will chase it. Strong finisher around the rim. Physical defender that moves his feet well. 

-2025 Bates Fundamentals (MI) G Sharod Barnes is a lock down type defender that is always steady and runs a loaded team. Quick off the bounce and thrives in the transition game. 

-2025 OWB (IL) G/F Payton Edwards a slashing lefty that finishes well in the lane and was dominate on the glass. He can make the 3 ball and caused havoc getting in the passing lanes and the defensive end. 

-2025 GFC (IL) G EJ Breland showcased a well rounded game. He was able to get by his man off the bounce to make plays. Showed some nice range on his 3 ball with no hesitation. 

-2025 OWB (IL) G Jamson Coulter is a crafty finisher with either hand. Has deep range in his 3 ball and doesn’t hesitate to pull the trigger on it. Was able to use his dribble to get to the hoop. 

-2025 Bates Fundamentals (MI) G Cameron Hutson really defends and is anyways in a stance. He makes things happen in transition and finishes plays at the rim. 

-2025 Dream Chasers (IL) PG Amari Edwards plays much much bigger than his height. Skilled ball handler who handled high level pressure well. Doesn’t turn it over. Keeps his dribble low. Has some shift to his game. 

-2025 Grand Park (IL) F/C 6’7 Dezmon Briscoe is new to us and was very impressive. Finished threw contact at the rim and is a big time shot blocker. The shots he doesn’t block he seems to alter. Excellent outlet passes that start the fast break and dominate rebounder. Good stroke on his free throws. Definitely one we will keep a close eye on. 

-2025 Grand Park (IL) G Jack Smiley knocks down open shots and plays a very efficient game. Doesn’t force things and plays well with others. Fun to watch. 

-2026 Indy Premier (IN) PG Bryce Peters is skilled and shifty with the ball. Really good vision and skilled passer off the bounce with either hand. Nice floater game and showed me fear playing against older bigger kids

-2026 Indy Premier (IN) PG Keyshawn Summerville much like his backcourt teammate Peters has a big heart abd no back down playing up. Really crafty always got his head up in transition. Skilled playmaker that’s fun to watch. 

-2025 Indy Premier (IN) 6’3 WF Anthony Holmes is dynamic and active on both ends. He thrives in the transition game and is tough to keep away from the rim. Showed ability to finish in traffic at the rim.
